Digital Preservation Policy
The digital preservation policy of the Journal of Environmental Nanotechnology (JENT) is a standing testimony to its relentless commitment to play the role of a custodian of scholarly research content. The policy includes the following measures:
Website Archiving
All of the electronic content (research publications, website content, etc.) of JENT are stored in three different sources. Content on the primary server is online and accessible to the readers. A copy of the same is preserved as a backup in two other servers. Should a server fail, other resources can be brought online, so that the website will be available within 24 hours.
Self-Archiving Policy (Archiving by the Author)
Being an open-access journal, JENT encourages and permits the authors to post their articles on personal and institutional websites, after the successful publication in JENT. Full bibliographic details and a link to the original publication in JENT shall be posted along with the article.
JENT is on the verge of opting for digital preservation of its electronic content in Portico.
